Distant

Where are you now? Where am I? Where have I been? What's changed.

What puts the distance between people, be it emotionally or physically. Geographically... being in the same city, or province, makes it feasible to visit within reason... technology allows us to interact on a fairly personal level. But what happens when the contact is severed?

Make an effort... or look and see if the other person is making an effort... it's tough sitting waiting for a call... or waiting for a text... someone to come online... etc if you really need to talk... if you need it... close the gap. If you don't want to... and they don't get to it, don't ponder it... if that person feels too distant... and nothing can close that gap, it becomes the equivilant of the Grand Canyon, and isn't going to fix itself, so forget it. Theres no time where its been easier to interact...

If neither of you make an effort to get in touch... that says a lot about your relationship... in this day and age, it doesn't take much. Then you start to feel... like you've been far away for far too long... when its really, just a click, a call, a second away... and it becomes the past... they become a piece of your past... and thats how regrets happen. Don't let it happen... because somewhere in there, you miss them, and they miss you. Theres probably a reason why they were in your life to begin with..

Song of the day:

Nickleback - Far away

Far away for far too long
